My Favorite Songs in the World

This song is called Bartender.  The band is Hed Planet Earth.  I first heard this song when I was living with my dad.  He was always playing Hed P.E.  No other artists have recorded this song.  I really like this song, because it relates to how my life was when I lived with my dad.  I was a desperate person back then.  I would do anything to fit in with people.  But in the end, I still felt like something missing from my life.

This song is called Slept So Long and was originally written by Jonathan Davis but Jay Gordan did a cover.  This song is found on the Queen of the Damned movie soundtrack.  I have loved this song since I watched that amazing movie.  I like it because it's something that I can feel.  I always get chills and goosebumps when I hear it playing.

This is another great song in my books.  This song is called Hokus Pokus.  It is performed by Insane Clown Posse and only them.  It's really up beat and fun in my oppinion.  But most people really hate this kind of music.  I started listening to this group when I started dating a really great guy.  This song is only on the album The Great Milenko.

Another one of my favorite songs is Lady Antabellum's Need You Now.  I like this song because it is raw emotion.  Every one of us has had a moment where we just wanted someone to be there.  And that is what this song signifes for me.  I have had many moments like the ones in this very song.

Miranda Lambert is a new fresh face for the country scene.  She recently recorded a song called The House That Built Me.  This song was originally written by Blake Shelton, but he let her have it.  It's a sweet innocent song about a girl coming back to visit her childhood home.  She relives her memories, and it brings you to tears.  I think that every one in the world can relate to what it feels like to go back home.

The Zac Brown Band is far from my taste in music.  But the message of this song hits it home for me.  This is my life in one song.  This song is called Chicken Fried.  My family is a bunch of rednecks, and when we get together you better look out.  Because there is bound to be drunks, punches, and a lot of noise.

Disturbed is an older band with a lot of new hype.  They have been putting out a lot of new music out recently.  This song is called The Animal.  It's about letting your feral instincts take over for once.  Instead of leading your normal life from day to day, change it up every once in awhile.

This song really makes me cry.  My family originated from a little town in Tennessee.  The town was called Jamestown.  The name of this song is In Color by Jaimey Johnson.  It's a song about his family history.  He really knows how to make a song relateable.  He has won many awards for this one song.

This song is called Eat The Children by Otep.  This song is off her album The Ascension.  This song comes from a drak part of my life.  I went through a really bad rebellious stage when I was thirteen years old.  I mainly liked this song because my mom hated it.  But the lyrics fit what I was going through at that time in my life.

This song is Putting Holes In Happiness by Marilyn Manson.  I like this song because it's a more low key Manson song.  This song is off the album Eat Me, Drink Me.  I have always been a huge Manson fan, but picking one song to post on this blog for you was a tough job.  But I chose this one because I didn't want to offend, disgust, or horrify anyone.  So I hope you enjoyed this song.

This song is called Moment 4 Life by Niki Minaj.  I'm not too fond of the singer, but I love this song.  It reminds me of the good things in life.  I first heard this song on a slideshow of my aunts honeymoon cruise.  It reminds me of living life to the fullest.
